14 - EREMO DI SAN MICHELE ALLE GROTTELLE RESTI MURARI DI COSILINUM La caverna santuario risale all'XI sec. e conserva un ciclo di affreschi rupestri. Sulla vicina collina della Civita sono i resti dell'antica Cosilinum, che fu importante centro commerciale greco-italiota, poi lucano ed infine romano. Si possono ancora distinguere una torre quadrata ed avanzi della Cinta Megalitica.

14 - ST. MICHAEL'S HERMITAGE TO THE GROTTELLE WALL RUINS OF COSILINUM The cave-sanctuary goes back to the XI cent. And keeps a cicle of rocky frescos. On the next hill of the Civita there are ruins of the ancient Cosilinum, that was an important grek-italiot commercial centre, then lucan and finally roman. A square tower and ruins of the megalithic town wall can be seen.
